Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Hospice and Palliative Care

Dr. Medrano was born in Mexico City but was raised in Houston, Texas, after arriving here as a young boy. He completed his undergraduate studies at Rice University and then moved to Philadephia to complete his medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine.

He completed his Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, serving as chief resident his final year. Dr. Medrano has been practicing medicine in the Memorial area since 2005.

Dr. Medrano’s clinical areas of interest include inpatient medicine, management of acute and chronic disease and general internal medicine management.

Dr. Medrano speaks English and Spanish. Dr. Medrano practices in our Katy location.
