Dr. Doshi was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, and has lived in the Houston vicinity for almost 25 years. He is a graduate of Baylor University and completed his medical school and residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch. He has practiced Internal Medicine in the Houston/Memorial City area since 1999.

Dr. Medrano was born in Mexico City but was raised in Houston, Texas, after arriving here as a young boy. He completed his undergraduate studies at Rice University and then moved to Philadephia to complete his medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine.
He completed his Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, serving as chief resident his final year. Dr. Medrano has been practicing medicine in the Memorial area since 2005.
Dr. Medrano’s clinical areas of interest include inpatient medicine, management of acute and chronic disease and general internal medicine management.

Dr. Manish Parikh was born in North Carolina and has lived in Houston, Texas, for the last 30 years. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin and his medical degree from Texas A&M Medical School.
He completed his Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at the University of Texas Medical Center at Houston and has been practicing medicine in the Memorial City area since 2004.
Dr. Parikh is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. His clinical areas of interest include both inpatient and outpatient care, post acute hospital care, management of acute and chronic disease, preventative care and pediatrics.

Dr. Nicole Jamison was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas and attended Rice University in Houston for her undergraduate degree. She went on to medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, and internal medicine residency at Washington State University in Spokane. She has practiced in the Houston/Memorial City area since 2009.
Dr. Jamison is board certified in internal medicine and hospice and palliative care. Her clinical areas of interest include management of acute and chronic diseases, preventative medicine, geriatric medicine, and women’s health.

Dr. Desai is a Board Certified family physician who has been active in primary care in the Houston area for the past 7 years. Prior to that, she worked in Austin and southern California.
She completed her undergraduate training at The University of Texas at Austin. After graduating from AUC School of Medicine, she completed her residency training at Michigan State University, where she was Chief Resident during her final year.
Dr. Desai sees patients of all ages and has a special interest in weight loss medicine. She works with patients on an individual basis to help them achieve a healthy weight and reduce their risk of developing long-term complications, such as diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, heart attack, stroke and certain cancers.

Dr. Gadgil is a graduate of St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, and earned her master’s degree in public health from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Ft. Worth. She received her medical degree from Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Vallejo, California, and residency training at the University of California- Davis Stanislaus Family Medicine program in Modesto. Dr. Gadgil is board certified in family medicine.

Internal Medicine - Hospitalist
Dr. Nguyen was born in Vietnam, but she grew up in New England and recently moved to Texas from New Hampshire. She completed her undergraduate studies at Tufts University in Medford, MA and received her medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, ME. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Massachusetts in Worcester, MA.
Dr. Nguyen speaks English and Vietnamese. Dr. Nguyen is a hospitalist and currently sees patients at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital and Kindred Hospital.
Dr. Susan Phan was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She is a graduate of Houston Baptist University and received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. She completed her residency training in family medicine at Christus Health/Texas A&M in Corpus Christi, TX.
Dr. Phan is board certified in family medicine and has special interests in women’s health and preventative medicine.

Jeannine is a graduate of the University of Texas Medical Branch where she completed her physician assistant training. She has been practicing in the Houston area in primary care and emergency medicine since 1992.
Jeannine’s clinical areas of interest include preventative and women’s care, management of acute and chronic primary care conditions and in-office minor surgical procedures.

Certified Physician Assistant
Karen earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Houston and a Master’s degree in Nutrition from Texas Women’s University. She then went on to earn her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Baylor College of Medicine. She graduated in 1996 and has practiced in primary care in the Houston area since.
Karen’s areas of interest include women’s health, preventive care, and management of acute and chronic disease.

Crysta was born in Houston, TX but grew up overseas in Saudi Arabia and has recently moved back to Houston.
She completed her undergraduate studies in nutrition at Texas State University in San Marcos, then went on to complete her dietetic internship and Master’s Degree in Nutrition at Texas Woman’s University in the Texas Medical Center in Houston.
Crysta’s nutrition consults focus on both dietary and lifestyle approaches to educate on weight management, diabetes, cholesterol, blood pressure, and chronic kidney disease.

Joni was born and raised in Penang, Malaysia. She graduated from Abilene Christian University with a degree in nutrition, then moved to Houston to complete her dietetic internship and Master of Public Health at University of Texas School of Public Health. She has experience as a diabetes educator and renal dietitian.
Joni is passionate about empowering patients in disease management and prevention through dietary and lifestyle modifications. Her focus is on diabetes self-management education, nutrition therapy for chronic kidney disease, and weight management.
Joni can speak English, Mandarin and Malay fluently. She practices at our Memorial City and Katy locations.
